AlphaCore turns away patients other clinics would treat. Not because we can't help — because the standards we hold ourselves to don't allow shortcuts. Here's what that actually looks like.
Who Qualifies
Not every patient is a fit. That's by design.
Before we prescribe anything — peptides, hormones, GLP-1, or regenerative therapies — every patient has to meet all of the following:
- 22 years of age or older
- No active cancer
- No chemotherapy within the past 5 years
- Comprehensive labs completed before therapy
- Screening visit required · in-person or telehealth
If you don't meet these criteria, we won't prescribe. No workarounds. No exceptions.
Our Compliance
Our pharmacy vetting isn't done by a vendor. It's done by my husband.
My husband Roger is our Chief Operating Officer. He's the one who screens every compounding pharmacy we work with before a single prescription goes through. It's not outsourced. It's not a contractor. It's done by the person I trust most.
Roger brings over 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to that work — quality, regulatory affairs, compliance, and operations, including deep work with the FDA, DEA, cGMP standards, and other major regulatory bodies.
It's not just a degree on a wall. It's practice and experience most functional medicine clinics simply don't have.
Every compounding pharmacy we work with is screened against documented quality criteria: Certificates of Analysis, endotoxin testing, USP sterility testing, bacterial content verification, and 503A licensure. If a pharmacy can't produce the documentation, we don't use them.

Required. We review your history, medications, goals, and any contraindications.

Comprehensive labs
Baseline bloodwork tailored to your plan. No labs, no therapy.

Clinical review
We analyze your labs and clinical picture together before any prescription is written.

Vetted pharmacy fulfillment
Prescriptions go only to 503A pharmacies with documented quality testing (see above).
Why We Say No
Why we turn patients away.
Some clinics prescribe to anyone who asks. We don't. If you're within 5 years of chemo, if your labs show a condition that needs upstream workup, if you want a peptide that isn't right for your situation — we'll tell you no, and we'll tell you why.
That's not us being difficult. That's us holding the line that keeps everyone safe. It's also why patients who work with us tend to stay.
